Influence of Chromium on Structure and Properties of Gray Cast Iron
摘要
Abstract
The influence of chromium and copper on mechanical property and machinability of gray cast iron was investigated.The results show that chromium can effectively strengthen the mechanical properties of gray cast iron.But at the same time a significant deterioration exists in microstructure homogeneous and section sensitivity of gray cast iron to result in obvious uneven in microhardness of pearlite and deterioration of cutting performance.When composite alloying with chromium and copper,it is possible to improve section sensitivity,microstructure uniformity and machinability of castings.关键词
