Abstract
Alumina foam ceramic filter is used for filtration of the melt in manufacture of FeSiB alloy ribbon.Gas content in the filtered and unfiltered samples is compared.The inclusions are analyzed by scanning electron microscope and X-ray diffraction.The results show that the foam ceramic filtration has an obvious effect on reducing gas content and inclusions in FeSiB alloy,and the mechanical property and toughness of the ribbon are considerably improved after filtration.关键词
