Calibration and Compensation Method on Installation Error of High Precision Digital Gyroscope

Abstract
High precision digital gyroscope has broad application prospects because of its significant advantages as highaccuracy and convenience.In the practical application found that installation error was one of the main reason seriously affect the accuracy of gyroscope output.This paper based on derivation output model of high precision digital gyroscope,proposed a calibration and compensation installation error method according to determining the coordinate transformation matrix by solving the scale factor.Detailed description of the high precision digital gyro installation error calibration steps and the scale factor method for solving;Experimental results show that this method can effectively compensate the installation error and make the full scale measurement absolute error less than 0.045 °/s and accuracy by 1 ~ 2 magnitudes of the high precision digital gyroscope,accurately transform gyroscope output to vector orthogonal coordinate system on the Carrier.Laid foundation for engineering application of the high precision digital gyroscope.关键词
