摘要

Abstract

Qingeaosha reservoir,located in the middle of tidal estuary,is a large reservoir for storing fresh water and holding back saltwater.It has hydraulic fill dams,and is characterized by the changeable tidal flat,lack of building stones,and over-water construction.Based on the numerical simulations,physical models,and field tests,a multi-factor,multiscale,and multi-level comprehensive technological route was proposed to study the variation of river regime,saltwater intrusion laws,structures and seepage characteristics of the hydraulic fill deep water dam,and the layout and closure of the oversize closure gap.The results of this study were used successfully to guide the construction and safe operations of reservoirs.
