摘要

Abstract

Plug-in hybrid electric vehicles or pure electric vehicles have been promoted and developed as a potential technology to reduce emissions of greenhouse gases and other pollutants by using electricity instead of petroleum,and by improving electric system efficiency by providing vehicle-to-grid (V2G) services.Recently,both hybrid electric vehicles and pure electric vehicles have a larger development.The traditional power grid technology becomes an main obstacle to its large-scale application.This paper estimates the challenges and requirements to the power grid by largescale plug-in electric vehicles,and proposes that plug-in electric vehicles can be developed with smart grid construction.By this way,both economic benefits and the reliability of power system can be obtained.
