摘要

Abstract

As a broad application of multilevel inverters in STACOM,a new cascade asymmetric topology is proposed in the paper.In order to meet the requirements of using fewer switching devices but producing more levels,the topology uses only nine switches but can produce nine-level voltage output.Segmented and stacked PWM control method is picked up after analyzing both the principle of the topology and the PWM control methods.The simulation software Matlab is used to prove the validity of this system.Simulation results show that both the quality of the output waveforms and the results of reactive power compensation are satisfactory.
