Abstract
The gating and riser system for the investment castings of stainless steel valve body were simulated by ProCAST software.Through simulation of filling mould and solidification of initial process which adopt two runner top integrated gating and riser system,shrinkage porosity defects on the upper thick flange portion and shrinkage hole defects in the lower connections of valve body were found.According to simulation analysis of initial process,the process of stainless steel valve body was optimized which adopt four runner top integrated gating and riser system.By validation of numerical simulation,valve body can realize directional solidification,and eliminate shrinkage and porosity defects,ensure the quality of valve body.关键词
