The synthesis of nano-CoOOH as anode electrode materials for rechargeable Li-ion batteries

摘要

Abstract

Nano-CoOOH was synthesized by co-precipitation method using CoSO4 ·6H2O and NaOH as resources and characterized by X-ray diffraction (XRD),transmission electron microscope (TEM),and the thermogravimetric (TG-DTA).The electrochemical properties as the anode electrode materials for lithium ion batteries were studied by charge-discharge method.The results showed that the sizes of Nano-CoOOH particles could be well controlled.When used as the anode materials for lithium ion batteries,the discharge capacity of the first cycle could reach as high as 2100 mAh · g-1 and finally stabilize at about 800 mAh · g 1 after 20 cycles.These results showed that this material could be one of the candidates for the negative materials.
