摘要
Abstract
The urban-rural dualism has plagued China's urbanization process for long,particularly in near suburbs This paper summarizes the concept of near suburban areas,its spatial range as well as the characteristics of passive urbanization.Based on extensive empirical studies,the paper deeply analyzes the reasons of passive urbanization in suburban areas and its consequences by referring to the institutional conflicts between the urban and the suburban sector.The keys to solve this problem is to plan economic development,land use,spatial characters,ecology and many other aspects as a whole.Based on successful experience at home and abroad,this paper proposes principles and strategies for healthy development in metropolitan suburban areas in terms of urban planning,technological improvement and and urban-rural governance.关键词
