摘要

Abstract

A novel circularly polarized antenna is presented,designed and tested,which has the advantages of simple structure,low production cost and good performance.The antenna was printed on an FR4 substrate.The antenna is composed of a hook shaped branch which is inserted into the square ground and simply fed by a 50Ω microstrip line.The presented antenna has the total small dimensions of size 55×55mm2 and works at the frequency band of 1.75GHz~2.9GHz.The 10dB return loss bandwidth and the 3dB axial ratio bandwidth are 49%(1.75GHz~2.9GHz) and 50% (1.8GHz~3GHz),respectively.Both of the hook shaped branch and the inverted-L structures are proved to be a good candidate for circularly polarized application.
