摘要

Abstract

The multi-level inverter is widely used in high power,high voltage application.However,the implementation of the space vector modulation(SVPWM) for a multi-level inverter is more and more complex as level of inverter increasing.A new SVPWM algorithm for five-level inverters was researched based on standard two-level SVPWM.The new SVPWM method is easy to determinate the location of the reference vector and calculate the ontimes.A five-level NPC/H inverter is used to explain the method.The method can be easily extended to a multilevel inverter.Finally,experimental results verify the validity of the method.
