无量山蚂蚁种类及其分布
Investigation of Ant Species and Distribution on Wuliang Mountain

Abstract
In order to find out the ant species resources on Wuliang mountain,the ant resources of 105 quadrats in 21 sample plots at 4 different elevation areas were investigated based on investigation method of sample plot.A total of 2113 ant specimens were collected,which belonged to 91 species,30 genera and 6 subfamilies.The density of ants was 20.1 individuals/m2.The first dominant subfamily was Formicinae,which included 11 genera 37 species,accounting for 40.7％ of total ant species.Secondly,38.5％ of total ant species belonged to Myrmicinae,which involved 9 genera 35 species.Both Pheidole and Camponotus had 10 species,which involved the most species in all genera.There were 13 genera with single species.The most widespread species was Camponotus parius,distributed in 9 sample plots.Secondly,Odontoponera transversa and Pheidole sinensis were distributed in 7 sample plots,and 38 species appeared only in a sample plot.There were 43 species of ground ants whose number was less than 10 individuals,among which 12 species had only one individual.These results show that the ant resources on Wuliang mountain are very rich,and they have great value of protection and utilization.关键词
