Research progress on microbial mat ecosystem of stromatolites

摘要

Abstract

The obvious achievements has made stromatolites research gone through nearly two hundred years,but there is the slow progress in stromatolites of microbial mat ecosystem.Through comparing and analyzing the progress of the microorganisms,microbial mat and its ecosystem of stromatolites home and abroad,there are the main achievements of studying stromatolites'microbial mat ecosystem,such as:first,initially revealing on the part of microbial composition and microbial mat features of proterozoic stromatolites,second,explaining the mineralization causes of stromatolite microbial mat on theory,and establishment the growth and calcification patterns of microbial mats in stromatolites,third,using the microscopic structure of the modern stromatolites growth to speculate the ancient stromatolites in the process of growth and morphological characteristics,fourth,preliminary discussing the relationship between the growth of the stromatolites microbial mat and the outside physical and chemical conditions (water,power,temperature,salinity,etc).Also found a lack of research,the paper pointed out the future research directions of the stromatolites microbial mat ecosystem,and provided a reference for in-depth study on stromatolites.
