Skeletal Traction of Olecranon Position Combined with Manipulative Reduction in Children's Unstable Proximal Humeral Epiphysial Fractures

Abstract
Objective:The authors undertook a retrospective study to improve the stability of children's unstable proximal humeral epiphysial fracture with skeletal traction of olecranon position,after close manipulative reduction.Methods:From January 2005 to January 2012,35 cases of hospitalized child with unstable proximal humeral epiphysial fractures were treated.All them were treated with skeletal traction of olecranon position with supine position and straight shoulder raising 90° after close manipulative reduction.Average 9 months was in 6 ～ 12 months follow up.The curative effect of treatment was observed with Constant Murley's Standard.Results:Clinical healing time of fracture was 6 ～ 8 weeks in all 35 cases.High efficacy was 33 eases,good 1 and less 1 in end of follow up.No one was with humeral head osteonecrosis.Conclusion:It can improve stability in children's proximal humeral epiphysial fracture and provide good anatomic conditions for shoulder function that posture of skeletal traction through olecranon,after close manipulative reduction.关键词
