Effects of Removing Main Branches on Light Intensity and Fruit Quality of Pear Tree

Abstract
Fusiform Pyrus pyrifolia cv.Niitaka trees with too many main branches in close planting garden were used to study the effects of removing main branches on light intensity and fruit quality.The relative light intensity at different times and different azimuths,and fruit quality at harvest period were detected.The results showed that the relative light intensity and fruit quality were improved significanty by removing main branches.Compared with control,the relative light intensity,single fruit weight and soluble solid content increased by 117.23％,14.28％ and 12.06％ respectively,while the titratable acid content decreased by 24.15％.关键词
