Effects of Wide-row Dense Planting on Agronomic Characters and Yield of Summer Maize
摘要
Abstract
Under high plant density of 82 500 plants per hectare,the effects of wide-row dense planting (row spacing of 80 cm,plant spacing of 15 cm) on the agronomic characters and yield of summer maize were studied using traditional planting (row spacing of 60 cm,plant spacing of 20 cm) as control.Compared with control,the coefficient of ear height under wide-row dense planting decreased,the lodging resistance strengthened,and plant harvest density,thousand-kernel weight,kernel number per ear and kernel yield obviously increased,the yield increased by 7.9％ ～ 22.0％.Therefore,wide-row dense planting could overcome the contradiction between high plant density and lodging resistance and increase the yield significantly.关键词
