Origin of Relationship between Horsetail Embroidery and Folk Custom of the Shui Nationality
摘要
Abstract
This paper discusses the relationship between intangible cultural and artistic heritage-horsetail embroidery and folk customs of the Shui nationality in Sandu,Guizhou Province,and analyzes folk cultural connotation of the Shui nationality implicated in horsetail embroidery skills of the Shui nationality as well as the effect and significance of horsetail embroidery in daily life,etiquette and customs of the Shui nationality by taking internal relevance between horsetail embroidery and folk customs of the Shui nationality as the main object of study.It is believed that horsetail embroidery is a carrier of folk culture or the sign of ideology and other customs of the Shui nationality.In traditional life style and customs of the Shui nationality,horsetail embroidery is a skill which must be mastered by maidens of the Shui nationality and has special significance for the marriage of women of the Shui nationality.Whether one is proficient in horsetail embroidery sometimes becomes a standard to measure the cleverness,competence and virtuousness of women.The discussion on the relationship between intangible cultural and artistic heritage-horsetail embroidery and folk customs of the Shui nationality has important historical significance for protecting and inheriting the culture of the Shui nationality.关键词
