Abstract
Objective:To explore the possible mechanism of improved insulin resistance in the rat model of GDM after the intervention of dietary PUFA.Methods:The rat model of GDM was established by streptozotocin(STZ).Thirty of them were used and randomized evenly divided into three groups:control group (STZ,n =10),Group 1 (STZ +low calorie,n =10) and Group 2(STZ + low calorie + PUFA,n =10).Crude membrane,plasma membrane and intracellular membrane fractions of adipocyte were isolated by different speed of centrifugations.The relative amount of GLUT in membrane fractions was detected by D-[U-14C]-glucose radioactivity.Results:The amount of GLUT in membrane fractions in Group 1 and Group 2 were significantly higher than that in Control Group (P＜0.01),while GLUT in Group 2 was markedly higher than Group 1.Conclusions:PUFA diet increase the amount of GLUT in adipocyte,which may be a segment of ameliorating insulin resistance in GDM rats.关键词
