Abstract
Objective To compare the clinical efficacy on the treatment of dentin hypersensitivity caused by wedge-shaped defects through using toothpaste containing NovaMin particles,iBOND Self Etch adhesive and sodium fluoride glycerin.Methods According to screening criteria,136 patients were included in this research.During the treatment period five of them are lost to follow.The final 131patients included 61 male,70 female and totally 508 teeth.The patients were randomly divided into three groups,among which NovaMin groupincludes 43 patients and 171 teeth,iBOND Self Etch group includes 43 patients and 163 teeth,and sodium fluoride group includes 45 patients and 174 teeth.Three groups respectively used toothpaste contai-ning NovaMin particles,iBOND Self Etch adhesive and sodium fluoride glycerin to treat dentin hypersensitivity,and clinical efficacy was observe.Results The immediate efficiency and that after 4 weeks and 12 weeks of NovaMin group were 91.8％,88.3％ and 80.1％,respectively.The immediate efficiency and that after 4 weeks and 12 weeks of iBOND Self Etc grouply were 93.8％,87.8 ％ and 78.7％,respectively.The immediate efficiency and that after 4 weeks after and 12 weeks of sodium fluoride group were 69.5％,62.6％ and 59.7％,respectively.The efficiency of NovaMin group and iBOND Self Etc group was higher than that of sodium fluoride group,with statistical significance (P ＜ 0.05).No statistical significance was identified between NovaMin group and iBOND Self Etc.Conclusions It is simple to treat dentin hypersensitivity caused by wedge-shaped defects through using toothpaste containing NovaMin particles and iBOND Self Etch adhesive,and the short-term effect is significant.关键词
