Abstract
Objective To decrease noise,Improve image quality, and reduce radiation dose with the application of Adaptive Statistical herative Reconstruction(Asir) technique. Methods Fifty patients clinically diagnosed as adolescent scoliosis, involving 10 males and 40 females aging from 10 to 15 years, were included in the study. In the Non-HD(high definition)mode, with the automatic MA control technique and NI(Noise Index) changed, the patients were divided into the groups of NI10(10 cases),NI15(10 cases),NI20(10 cases),NI25(10 cases),and NI30(10 cases) randomly. The rest of the parameters was exactly the same.Radiation dose was recorded from the workstation, then Asir reconstruction technique was used in the five groups, with SS of 0,10,20,30,40,50,60,70,80,90 and 100.Post-processing reconstruction was performed with the thickness of 0.625 mm.Results The groups of default sequence N10 and added N25 were representative, which were compared for the radiation dose and image grade. There was significant difference between the radiation doses with P<0.05,while no difference between the image grades with P>0.05.Conclusion With automatic MA control technique,NI (Noise Index) of 25 and the Asir Noise reduction ratio of 70%,the performance of low-dose CT scanning of adolescent scoliosis is preferable.关键词
