University Students' Implicit Identity-related Stigma Towards Migrant Workers
摘要
Abstract
Objective:To explore whether identity-related stigma towards migrant workers exists among university students,and investigate the difference between students who majored in social work and students majored in non-social work.Methods:47 students who majored in social work and 50 students who majored in non-social work finished the study task through SEB questionnaires.Results:All students and students who were from rural areas made more explanation for the negative behaviors of migrant workers; all students and students with different professions made more internal attribution to positive behaviors of migrant workers,along with students who were from rural areas,and they also made more internal attribution to negative behaviors of city dweller; students who were from rural areas tended to make internal attribution to positive behaviors of migrant workers,made external attribution to positive behaviors of city dweller.Conclusion:The implicit identity-related stigma towards migrant workers does not exist among the university students; the attitude towards migrant workers have no difference between students who majored in social work and majored in non-social work; students who are from rural area have more positive attitude towards migrant workers.关键词
