Left-home Children's Hope and Its Relationship with Mental Health
摘要
Abstract
Objective:To explore the relationship between left-home children's hope and mental health with different grade.Methods:2110 left-home children and 2026 non left-home children from grade 3,5,8,11 finished the Chinese version of the Children's Hope Scale and Strengths and Difficulties Questionnaire.Results:There was a significant difference between left-home and non left home children's hope.Further analysis indicated that the hope of mother-left-home children was significantly lower than that of father-left-home children,the difficulty total scores of mother-left-home children was significantly higher than that of father-left-home children,and the other left-behind children.Hope had significant positive effect on social behavior and negative effect on the diffieulty total scores within 3 types of left-behind children.Conclusion:Hope was an important protective factor on mental health for the left-home children.关键词
