摘要

Abstract

Objective:To search the ideal surface morphology of the silk fibroin by studying four different microtopographic structures of silk fibroin and their effects on the proliferation of vascular endothelial cells,in order to provide a new idea for applying biological materials in endovascular treatment. Methods:The soft printing technology was used to prepare a variety of morphologies of silk fibroin. The effects of microtopographic structures of silk fibroin on the morphology of vascular endothelial cells and celluar behavior were observed under microscope, and sulforhodamine B(SRB) test was used to detect cell activity. Results:Vascular endothelial cells could attach and grow on different silk fibroins.Microtopographic structures of silk fibroin might lead to different growth behaviors of vascular endothelial cells. The effects of microtopographic structure 2,3,4 were significantly better than that of structure 1 (the control group) P<0.05,and cell growth advantage in structure 2 was the most obvious. The effect of structure 5 had no significant difference compared with that of the control group(P>0.05).Conclusions:The microtopographic structure of silk fibroin has positive effects on vascular endothelial cell morphology, attachment and proliferation, indicating that the microtopographic structure can affect the biological behavior of endothelial cells.
