Abstract
Objective:To investigate the value of 256-slice CT in the assessment of left ventricular function.Methods:A total of 12 patients suspected with coronary heart diseases were enrolled.All patients underwent echocardiography and 256-slice spiral CT examination.The mean values of left ventricular end systolic volume(LVESV),left ventrcular end diastolic volume(LV-EDV),left ventricular ejection fraction(EF) and stroke volume(SV) were compared.Results:All the 12 patients completed echocardiography and 256-slice spiral CT examination,and the main parameters acquired by echocardiography and 256-slice CT were LVEDV(118.5 ± 20.8)mL,(114.6 ± 18.5)mL; LVESV(61.3 ± 23.3)mL,(57.9 ± 19.2)mL; LVSV(73.8 ± 24.6)mL,(71.6 ± 25.1)mL; LVEF(57.7 ± 7.6) ％,(55.2 ± 9.7) ％,respectively; no differences were found between the two methods (P＞0.05).However,MSCT is superior to echocardiography in the assessment of wall thickness and left ventricular chamber.Conclusions:MSCT heart analysis is based on the three-dimensional volume scan.Compared with echocardiography,it is closer to the real analytical structure of the left ventricule.关键词
