摘要
Abstract
Objective To discuss the causes and treatment of postoperative complications in the extraction of horizontally impacted mandibular third molar.Methods 182 horizontally impacted mandibular third molar were divide by two groups randomly.One group was extracted with highspeed turbine drill and the other group was extracted with bone chisel.The operation time and postoperative complications including buccal swelling,dry socket and temporomandibular disorders were evaluated.Results The study showed that extracting with high-speed turbine drill has the advantages of less trauma of the temporomandibular joint,short operation time except for long recovery time.Conclusion The study indicates that high-speed turbine drill is a reliable and ideal choice for horizontally impacted mandibular third molar extraction.关键词
