Suppression of Common Mode Voltage for Matrix Converter Based on Double Line Voltage Synthesis Strategy

Abstract
The use of PWM signals acting on the matrix converter will cause high-frequency common mode voltage (CMV) inevitably,which would have a great harm to the load and the electrical equipments.The instantaneous value of CMV in the switching period for matrix converter under the double line voltage strategy was analyzed.Aiming at the particular four-step commutation of the matrix converter,the delay effect of commutation on the CMV was analyzed.By choosing the input phase of zero output voltages combination accurately,the proposed method can reduce the mount of CMV by 42.3%.Accordingly,adverse effects of CMV are eliminated to a degree.Furthermore,the CVM variation of the proposed method is less impressed with the commutation.Experiments with a prototype are carried out.The results are given to verify the feasibility and effectiveness of the proposed method.关键词
