磁场对低温胁迫玉米幼苗生长和光合作用的影响
Effects of magnetic field on maize seedling growth and photosynthesis under cold stress
摘要
Abstract
The objective of this study was to investigate the effects of magnetic field pretreatment at 150 and 300 mT on maize seedling growth and physiological characteristics under 4 ℃ cold stress.The results showed that the damage to maize seedling growth caused by cold stress was significantly relieved with seeds treated by magnetic field.It can promote maize seedling growth by increasing total length,root activity and photosynthetic efficiency.The effect of 150 mT was more significant.The damage to maize seed caused by cold stress was significantly reduced in the presence of the magnetic strength of 150 mT.Specifically,the surface area of roots,total volume of root,and root activity increased by 69%,101%,and 1.72-fold,respectively; root dry weight and shoot dry weight increased by 0.61-fold and 1.56-fold,respectively.Stomatal conductance (Gs),intercellular CO2 concentration (Ci)and the photosynthetic rate (Pn) of leaves increased by 55.6 %,44.6 % and 67.9 %,respectively.Compared with 150 mT,the effect of 300 mT on maize seedling growth was significantly decreased.关键词
