Synthesis and Separation of 2-(2, 4-Dinitrophenoxy) Ethanol and Bis (2, 4-Dinitrophenoxy) Ethane
摘要
Abstract
A mixture of 2-(2,4-dinitrophenoxy) ethanol (DNE) and bis(2,4-dinitrophenoxy) ethane (BDNE) was synthesized via condensation with ethandiol under basic condition using 2,4-dinitrochlorobenzene as starting material.The results show that the optimum conditions of condensation are determined as0 Na2CO3 as catalyst,reaction temperature 85℃ and n(DNCB) ∶ n(OH-)=1 ∶ 1.17.Based on the similarity and compatibility principle and different polarity of each compound in a mixture,the better solvent is decided as ethanol to separate the DNE/ BDNE mixture.The structure of DNE and BDNE obtained by purification was characterized.关键词
