Abstract
Objective To assess the reliability of using the W angle、ANB angle and Wits value in judging sagittal jaw relationship of Angle's Ⅲ class malocclusion.Methods 38 cases of Angle's Ⅲ class malocclusion between the age of 15 and 25 years were studied,by using Adobe Photoshop CS3 to measure W angle,Wits value,ANB angle.The correlation and variance degree among these parameters were analyzed.Results The coefficients of variation for W angle,Wits value and ANB angle were 0.05、0.40 and 0.65,and good correlation among them was shown.Conclusion W angle,Wits value,ANB angle can be used to evaluate the sagittal jaw status of Angle's Ⅲ class malocclusion,but the W angle may be more reliable.关键词
