摘要
Abstract
The Tiantoushan gold (copper) ore deposit, Zongyang County is situated at the southwestern fringe of the Lu-Zong volcanic basin. Ore bodies are controlled by three almost NS-trending fracture zones in upper Jurassic Zhuangqiao Formation of trachyandesitic volcaniclastic rock and the underlying mid-Jurassic Luoling Formation of sandstone on the basin margin, and mainly occur as copper-bearing silicified quartz veins. Gold-bearing minerals are mostly chalcopyrite, quartz and emplectite, and the gold fills in fracture mainly as fined-grained silver-bearing natural gold, having paragenetic associations of Au, Cu, Ag and Bi. This is a mid-low-temperature hydrothermal gold ore de-posit related to volcanic and subvolcanic rocks, and is the unique independent gold deposit found so far in the Lu-Zong area.关键词
