摘要

Abstract

Nano-calcium carbonate was modified with composite modifier by carbonization method.Activation index,oil absorption value and average particle size of nano-CaCO3 prepared were measured,and its physical properties were confirmed by means of TGA,IR and TEM etc.The optimum modification conditions were attained:1.5% (mass fraction) composite modifier,consisting of lauric acid and glyceryl di-caprylate poiyoxyethylene ether with ratio of 1:1.Results showed that the activation index of modified nano-CaCO3prepared through this technique was 100%,the oil absorption value was 31.5,and the average particle size was 70nm.The hydrophobicity of modified nano-CaCO3 was strong.
