摘要

Abstract

A two-step debinding process involving solvent debinding and thermal debinding was performed to the molded superfine 316L stainless steel powder preform.The effects of heating rate and dwelling time on the thermal debinding were investigated.Paraffine component in the binder system was completely removed by solvent debinding in n hexane at 50℃ for 4h.Other components in the binder system were removed by the subsequent thermal debinding.The optimized heating rate and dwelling time were determined to obtain defect free debond green part.The debinding duration for the molded superfine stainless steel powder preform is significantly decreased to about 10 h.
