Abstract
Graceful Songs of the Earth written by Fan Wen tells a life dialogue between a Buddha and the mission⁃ary, the love of a Taiwan veteran from Tibet, who was eager to see his sweetheart in the mainland, as well as a leg⁃end of faith saving love and love changing the fate in the atmosphere where the legion is crisscrossed with the reali⁃ty, nations mixed and multiple cultures collided and fused. The novel investigates how the contemporary intellectu⁃als explore to realize the great construction of the realization of cultural compatibility, faith coexisting in Chinese context by reflecting profound history, and to explain the mental propositions such as love, religion, war, fate, hu⁃manity, culture, life, dignity and so on, which are concerned by the common human regarding love as the starting point, so it has an important present significance.关键词
