Abstract
In the beginning of US-Soviet diplomatic relations, the Soviet Union hoped to introduce advanced tech⁃nology and equipment from the United States in order to accelerate the socialist industrialization. At that moment, the United States needed to sell large numbers of the surplus heavy industrial products as soon as possible and ac⁃tively provided technical support to the Soviet Union. The Soviet government introduced advanced technology from the United States in a variety of ways. Affected by the political relations, the technology introduction suffered lots of twists and turns. Overall, the technology introduction of the Soviet Union from the United States during that peri⁃od made certain achievements, promoted the development of the economy and national defense construction of the Soviet Union, and provided a strong material security for the victory of the Great Patriotic War.关键词
