Abstract
Objective:To evaluate the therapeutic effect of retroperitoneal laparoscopic simple nephrectomy for benign nonfunctioning kidneys.Methods:From Aug.2009 to Feb.2013,20 patients with benign nonfunctioning kidneys were treated by retroperitoneal laparoscopic simple nephrectomy.The primary diseases were ureteropelvic junction stenosis in 4 patients,pelvis calculus in 2 cases,ureteral calculus in 10 cases,and renal tuberculosis in 4 cases.The renal artery and veins were severed after the vessels were blocked with Hem-o-lok.The clinical data was retrospectively analyzed.Results:All the operations were completed successfully without any serious complications.No case was converted to open operation.The mean laparoscopic operation time was (74.10 ± 19.98) min,the mean blood loss was (35.85 ±40.18) ml,and the mean postoperative hospital stay was (5.55 ±0.94) d.No case needed blood transfusion.Conclusions:Retroperitoneal laparoscopic simple nephrectomy is safe and effective for benign nonfunctioning kidneys with advantages of minimal trauma and rapid recovery.This procedure is worthy of recommendation.关键词
