Abstract
Underwater target signal detection in underwater target detecting survey using side-scan sonar is studied in the paper.Distribution models of the echo signal from sea-bottom and estimation of models' parameters are analyzed,and the influence of the target signal on the fitting of distribution models is studied.The concepts of false alarm function and false alarm rate in side-scan sonar signals are proposed in the paper,and a detecting method is raised for drawing the target signals from Ping signals.The experiment indicates that the fitting using K-distribution model is optimal among the three models,with the detecting rate based on false alarm function highest at the same false alarm rate.The method gives technical support for real-time alerts of the target in sidescan sonar signals.关键词
