Abstract
Maritime delimitation is the most dynamic issue in the area of the international law of the sea.This paper concisely studies the latest case judged by the International Court of Justice (ICJ)in 2012——territorial and maritime dispute (Nicaragua v.Columbia).This paper summarizes the key points adopted by ICJ to judge the sovereignty over disputed islands at sea,the admissibility of this case discussed by ICJ and the content of this admissible case.ICJ followed the three-stage methodology to establish the maritime boundaries between Nicaragua and Colombia.This paper recommends that we should study the similarity of the latest cases in order to safeguard the marine rights and interests of our country.关键词
