Abstract
From the historical records compiled by governments from Han to Tang Dynasties, the paper analyzes the attitudes to traditional literatures in the calendrical debates and reforms. It is indicated that each dynasty had attached much importance to traditional literatures. But it doesn’t mean that they had the same attitudes. It is discussed that traditional literatures were not only given affirmation but also were suspected, and even experienced different interpretation. What is more, some people had denied the validity of some of them. Some analyses will be given, and the reasons behind the attitudes will be explored in the paper.关键词
