Abstract
Based on Huntington’s theory that the post-cold-war political clashes in the world lie in the field of civilization, a study was made of the clashes between civilizations and the sources of the colo-nial domination in E. M. Forster’s A Passage to India to seek the possibility of harmonious co-exis-tence of different civilizations. At the same time, the limitation of Huntington’s assertion was pointed out.关键词
