Literature and society of Jin Dynasty
摘要
Abstract
Special society determines the specialty of its literature. Based on the analysis of the society of Jin Dynasty, a light was shed on Jin’s literature phenomena in different periods to seek a correct re-search method. Jin’s invasion of Song led to monotonous content and obscure themes of the works by those talents recruited from Liao and Song dynasties in the early period of Jin. The political status of Jin’s literati was so low that what their works could reflect about the society was rather narrow. Jin se-lected talents through the imperial examination system, which made the formalism in literary creation prevalent. The unification of regional cultures contributed to the change of literature concept. Jin’s liter-ary phenomena in various periods must be analyzed in light of its literary specialty resulted from its special society.关键词
