Abstract
The appropriate use of some rhetorical devices can make English news headlines more vivid ,catchy and easier to understand .Some rhetorical devices are often used in English news headlines ,mainly phonological rhetorical devices and lex-ical rhetorical devices .These rhetorical devices can help the readers have a better understanding of English news headlines and the implied meaning as well as the beauty thus embodied in them .关键词
