Effects of Different Nitrogen Levels on Growth and Yield of Yantai Ground Cucumber and Soil Available Nitrogen

Abstract
The plot experiment was conducted in field to study the effects of different nitrogen application rates on growth,yield,economic benefit and soil available nitrogen of Yantai Ground cucumber.The results showed that appropriate nitrogen application rate had significant positive role in stem diameter and internode length of cucumber.The chlorophyll content of cucumber leaves increased significantly with the increase of nitrogen application rate,and their correlation coefficient was 0.9744.Yield and economic benefit of cucumber increased gradually with the increase of N application rate and those of the 3rd treatment was the highest.That was to say,the.hightest yield was 77 333 kg/hm2 and the hightest economic benefit was 301 318.3 yuan/hm2under the treatment with nitrogen application rate as 460.7 kg/hm2.The soil available nitrogen content increased with the increase of nitrogen application rate,and their sighnificantly positive correlation coefficient was 0.9580.关键词
