Abstract
This paper examines the existing problems of Shanghai’s historic roads, and proposes possible planning and implementation solutions. The paper concludes with recommendations for designers, planners and policy makers to improve current historic preservation practices in terms of refined planning management, and to achieve a balance between economic development, environment sustainability, and social equity.关键词
