The Grand Hongqiao District's Functions and Developments for Yangtze River Delta--In Perspective of Shanghai, a Globalized Metropolis

Abstract
The paper starts from the study of transformation of Shanghai with its economic globalization and promotion of information technology in perspective of Shanghai, a globalized metropolis. The necessity and urgency of district functional layout adjustment which is used to match the transformation of Shanghai is explained while the strategy of district functional layout adjustment for Shanghai's during the "12th Five-Year Plan" is pointed out in the paper. After that, the function of Shanghai transformation and service in Yangtze River Delta of the grand Hongqiao district development is also confirmed to support the functional development of this district.关键词
