Survey of mild coanitive impairment in old people in community of Jinan city

Abstract
Objective:To investigate the prevalence of mild cognitive impairment(MCI) in community elderly population in Jinan city and analyze the related factors of the disease.Methods:Based on a household survey approach,a total of 1 226 community old people in more than 60 years old were selected for sample survey in Jinan city.The survey was conducted by trained investigators and community physician,the history collection and clinical examination were carried out for the cases who had chief complaint of obvious memory impairment or their families said that and whose cognitive function scale (MMSE) score was lower than the critical value,and then to make a diagnosis.Results:115 community old people had the MCI,accounting for 9.4％.The prevalence rate of MCI increased in the elderly population with low level of education.And with age growing the prevalence rate increased.Conclusion:The elderly with and low level of education are high-risk population of MCI.关键词
