摘要

Abstract

Objective:To explore the new model of nursing professional English teaching assessment and evaluation.Methods:Combination of formative assessment and summative assessment of teaching practice was applied for 70 nursing students in undergraduate nursing class in Grade 2009,and self-designed questionnaires were used for learning questionnaire surveys and standard professional English proficiency test for them.Results:There was statistically significant difference in students' interest in learning and professional English skills before and after formative assessment applied in nursing professional English teaching(P<0.05).Conclusion:effective combination of formative assessment and summative assessment has stimulated students' interest in learning English and improved the professional English teaching effectiveness and students' English proficiency.
