Study of the Control Effect on Weed and Applied Technique of Using 70% Flucarbazone WDG in Spring Wheat Field

Abstract

[Objective]This project aims to make it clear that using 70% flucarbazone WDG in spring wheat fields has control effect on different kinds of weeds and the best methods for that purpose in order to provide guidance for scientific,safe and efficient use of the herbicide.[Method] The control effects on weeds by spraying the different doses of this herbicide mixed with security agent or broadleaf herbicide were evaluated by using randomized block method and fixed-point sampling.And whatˊs more,the security to wheat growth during different growth period of using different techniques was investigated and evaluated and finally,the wheat yield was measured as well.[Result] The control effects on wild oat was 92.6% after 30 days by spraying 31.5 g a.i./hm2 of 70% flucarbazone WDG.The fresh weight control effect was 95.4% after 45days.The control effect on broadleaves weeds was 57.5%-65.4% after 30 days,and the humid weight control effect was 63.6%-74.1% after 45 days.The herbicide combined with cloquintocet or mefenphyr did not reduce the numbers of wild oat,wild rape and secondary rape.When it was combined with 2,4-D butylate or Tribenuron-methyl,the control effect on broadleaves weed was raised evidently and meanwhile the effect on wild oat was kept.The control effects on weeds (general plant) were over 90.4% 30 days later after spraying flucarbazone and fresh weight control effect 94.4% after 45 days.The different treatments of flucarbazone would increase the wheat yield by about 3.4%-18.8%.[Conclusion]31.5 g a.i./hm2 70%flucarbazone WDG mixed with 2,4-D butylate or tribenuron-methyl had high control effect on weeds in the field and was safe for wheat when it was sprayed during the period of 5 leaves (major weed period of 3-5leaves).
