Abstract
Objective To study the clinical incidence of the second mesiobuccal (MB2) root canal of maxillary second primary molars.Methods Detecting the fissure or grooves between the mesiobuccal and palatal canal orifices to investigate the Clinical incidence of the second mesiobuccal root canal of maxillary second primary molars.Results 26 molars of the 56 maxillary second primary molars in 54 patients had second mesiobuccal root canals.The incidence rate was 46.43％.There was no significant relationship between the incidence of an MB2 canal and gender and tooth position.Conclusion There was a high incidence of the second mesiobuccal root canal of maxillary second primary molars.To improve the success of endodontic treatment in maxillary second primary molars,more attention should be paid to locate the MB2 canals.关键词
