Abstract
Objective To evaluate the effect of micro-invasive treatment of internal fixation with locking compression plate (LCP) for aged patients with intertrochanteric femur fractures. Methods The clinical data of 82 intertrochanteric femur fracture patients, aged from 65 to 95 years, performed mini-invasive treatment of LCP fixation were reviewed. All cases were combined internal diseases.According to the Evans classification, there was stable fracture of type Ⅰ in 42 cases, unstable fracture of type Ⅰ in 30 cases and reverse oblique fracture of type Ⅱ in 10 cases. Results All cases were followed up for 9 to 15 months with an average of 11 months. All fractures were achieved healing without complication as transfiguration, broken and loosening of internal fixator and deformity of coax vara and coax valgus. The outcome revealed excellence in 70,good in 8 and fair in 4,and the fineness rate was 95.1 %.Conclusion The mini-invasive treatment of LCP internal fixation is an easy and effective method for aged patients with intertrochanteric femur fractures with advantages as reliable fixation,mini-trauma,less complication and good functional rehabilitation.关键词
