摘要

Abstract

  A pipe-embedded building envelope, which is an external wall or roof with pipes embedded in it. This structure may utilize the circulating water in the pipe to transfer heat or coolth inside directly. The heat transfer of a pipe-embedded external wall and a conventional wall with the same configuration is numerically simulated under typical hot summer cool winter weather condition. The results show this pipe-embedded structure may reduce the cooling load in summer and heating load in winter by using renewable energy. This paper also presents the effects of the water temperature on the heat transfer of this structure.
